Purple Hands Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with Programmed, supporting the Kimberley 9s Carnival and building on a relationship that has been part of the Foundation's journey for the last three years.

While this partnership may be new on paper, Programmed has long been part of the Purple Hands family.

For years, Programmed has supported Kimberley 9s behind the scenes and on the ground, helping with logistics, equipment, and the many practical challenges that come with delivering an event of this scale in the Kimberley.

Programmed have also been pivotal in bringing artists and facilitators to the region to deliver workshops for young people, most recently helping bring Indigenous hip-hop artist Flewnt to run music workshops with attending students and perform at the Student Dining Experience at last year’s Kimberley 9s, adding experiences that extend well beyond the football field.

Their involvement with Purple Hands doesn't stop at Kimberley 9s. Programmed has been closely involved with the Foundation's Intercept program and has consistently stepped up to volunteer and support programs and events whenever the opportunity arises.

Both organisations share a strong belief in creating opportunities for young people, building connections, and using practical experiences to help people overcome barriers and reach their potential.

Purple Hands Foundation Operations Manager Amber Vandam said partnering with Programmed was about formally recognising a relationship that has naturally grown over time.

"They have been alongside us for many years already, so this partnership is really about recognising and building on a relationship that has grown organically over time.

Programmed’s Head of Facility Management (Western Australia & Resources) John Pirie said this partnership reflects the shared commitment to making a genuine difference in young people’s lives through connection, opportunity and support.

Through the partnership, Programmed will continue to play an important role in helping deliver the Kimberley 9s Carnival and the experiences it creates for young people across the region.
