Fremantle are throwing it back to the early 2000s in with a range of retro gear for our round 23 Retro Round clash with Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium.

Freo will wear the tri-panel anchor away jumper the Club wore between 2001 to 2005, first worn in an Ansett Cup match between Fremantle and Melbourne at Subiaco Oval on 17 February 2001. It was last worn against the Power in the final round of the 2005 season.

It’s the jumper Fremantle wore against Melbourne at the MCG for Justin Longmuir’s six-goal haul in 2003 and Jeff Farmer’s seven-goal haul in 2005.

After eight consecutive losses at Kardinia Park, Fremantle secured their first-ever win at the ground in 2005 wearing the jumper, with Peter Bell starring with 29 disposals and Farmer kicking four goals.

The jumper is now live and available for sale alongside a number of other supporter replica items - including caps, beanies and a scarf.

We’ve called in the big names of Nat Fyfe, Andrew Brayshaw, Caleb Serong, Jaeger O’Meara, Hayley Miller and Gabby O’Sullivan, alongside a pair of Freo legends in Troy Cook and Luke McPharlin, to model the merchandise.
