Fremantle youngsters Isaiah Dudley and Aiden Riddle have both signed one-year contract extensions to remain on the Club’s rookie list until the end of season 2026.

Dudley made his AFL debut for Fremantle in the Club’s Round 3 RAC Derby win against West Coast, kicking two goals from 10 disposals.

The South Australian has played nine games for Fremantle in season 2025, putting his forward craft and consistent front-half pressure on display - highlighted by a career-high eight tackles against St Kilda in just his sixth AFL game.

Invited as a train-on from SANFL Club Central District over summer, Dudley was signed during the Supplemental Selection Period in February as a replacement player for young forward/ruck Odin Jones, who was added to the long-term injury list following spinal surgery.

Fremantle Head of Player Personnel David Walls said the young forward has impressed in his short time at the Club.

“He's worked really hard after coming over from South Australia to train for an SSP spot,” Walls said.

“He got to work, impressed and in nine games has shown he can have an impact at AFL level.

“We look forward to what he can do with more work - there's real room for growth and improvement.”

Added to Fremantle’s list in the rookie draft last November, developing ruck/forward Aiden Riddle has been honing his craft while playing for Peel Thunder in the WAFL.

Making the big step from colts football, the talented teenager has played seven league games and one in the reserves, kicking six goals and amassing 77 hit-outs while rotating between the forward line and ruck.

Walls said the 19-year-old has shown significant development and is committed to improving his game.

“He had a really good pre-season and is settling into life as a tall, young player,” Walls said.

“It's not easy to come straight out of the Claremont colts and WA under-18s onto an AFL list, but he's showing really encouraging signs at Peel.

“When you draft a 200cm teenager, he really needs to have the right attitude - and Aiden is showing he’s eager to learn and develop.”
