Fremantle have confirmed their final team of 23 to play Essendon on Thursday night, making two changes to the side.
Nathan O’Driscoll and James Aish come into the starting line-up, both named on the interchange bench alongside Neil Erasmus, Nat Fyfe and Murphy Reid.
Ruckman Sean Darcy is being managed, while Sam Switkowski has been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
O’Driscoll will play his first AFL game since injuring his ankle in Round 4 against the Western Bulldogs.
The 23-year-old had started the season in strong form at AFL level, averaging 21 disposals, three marks and 4.8 tackles.
Aish has been recalled for his third AFL game of the year after a strong run of form for Peel Thunder in the WAFL, gathering 24 or more disposals in his last three appearances.
Luke Jackson has been named as the sole ruck, with Caleb Serong and Andrew Brayshaw leading the midfield.
Brayshaw will captain the side in the absence of Alex Pearce. The midfielder has been as important as ever over the last five rounds, averaging 29.2 disposals, seven tackles and four marks per game.
Pat Voss has been named in the forward pocket for the clash with his former side, with Josh Treacy and Jye Amiss rounding out the full forward line.
Thursday night will be just the fourth time Fremantle has played Essendon at Optus Stadium, having won two of those previous three meetings.
Will Brodie, Oscar McDonald and Liam Reidy are emergencies for the match.
The substitute will be named one hour before the game, with bounce down at 6.10pm WST.
The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy, and streamed live on 7plus, Kayo, and Binge from 6.00pm WST.
