Walyalup has confirmed its final team of 21 to take on the Sydney Swans in Round 4 of the NAB AFLW Season, this Sunday 7 September, with four changes made to the side.

Vice-captain Ash Brazill is set to make her return named on the interchange interchange bench, following a stint on the sidelines with a hip injury picked up in Round 2.

Phil Seth, Dana East and Amy Mulholland have all been omitted for the clash and named as the three emergencies, while Emma O’Driscoll is ruled out under concussion protocols.

Announced in Thursday afternoon’s squad, Walyalup named in Holly Ifould as a debutant for the clash.

Ifould has been named in the backline alongside Indi Strom, Jess Low, Gabby O’Sullivan and Laura Pugh.

Hailing from South Australia, Ifould was drafted in the 2023 AFLW Draft as the Club’s sole selection for the Draft, at pick 49 and stood out with her work rate and strong aerial ability.

Captain Ange Stannett spoke to media on Thursday morning and said the side have hit the ground running in training this week as they prepare for Sunday.

“After the weekend, you give yourself the space to feel what you need to feel, and obviously there is disappointment, but we are pretty clear on our process once we get back into the Club on Monday,” Stannett said.

“We review the game heavily, are really honest with our conversations, and then Webby is great at giving us super specific feedback.

"Our confidence comes from that preparation - knowing exactly what it is we need to do during the week so we can build on it and improve.”

Walyalup and Sydney Swans have played against each other twice, with the last time being in the 2023 NAB AFLW Season. Swans won the match 40 (5.10) to 18 (2.6) at Fremantle Oval.

Bouncedown on Sunday is at 1.05pm EST at Henson Park.

The game will be broadcast live on 7mate and Fox Sports, and streamed live on Kayo, Binge and 7plus from 1pm EST.
