Jordan Ralph from Dampier is now $25,000 richer after winning the first prize in the 2019 Fremantle Dockers Foundation Raffle.
Jordan was presented his $25,000 check by Freo defender Joel Hamling and couldn’t believe his luck upon finding out he was the winner.
“This is fantastic, I’ll never forget it,” Ralph said.
“I can’t exactly remember how much I spent but I had a bit of money in the raffle because I thought it was a good cause.
“I’m renovating the house so this will go a long way towards that, but I won’t spend it on anything crazy like a holiday.”
Jordan said Fremantle’s support of sport at a grassroots level that motivated him to enter.
“I like that the raffle was supporting grassroots footy,” Ralph said.
“It’s great to see kids brought into the game early, see them learning all the skills, and showing teamwork and commitment.
“Whichever sport it is I think grassroots is a great investment.
All supporters of the Fremantle Dockers Foundation Raffle who purchased 25 tickets or a full book of tickets went into the draw to win a new car valued at over $25k.
