On Wednesday 9 June 2010, 12 primary schools in the Rockingham Area got together to play a Football Carnival which was proudly sponsored by the Fremantle Football Club. It was held at the Warnbro Rec with the following schools participating:

Red Division - Hillman, Rockingham Lakes, Bungaree, Cooloongup, Rockingham Beach and Waikiki & Black Division - Warnbro, Safety Bay, Koorana, Charthouse, Port Kennedy and East Waikiki.

The Carnival was run by Hillman deputy principal Rod Graham, Hillman physical education pecialist Kristy Nash and Warnbro Physical Education Specialist Matthew Smith.

Six fields were set up and over the course of the day 30 games of football were played, with 240 students participating. Comet Bay College provided 30 Year 10 students for the day to umpire. The results for the Carnival were as follows;

Red Division: 1st Rockingham Beach - 15 pts (5W)
2nd Cooloongup - 13 pts (4W, 1L)
3rd Rockingham Lakes - 11 pts (3W, 2L)
4th Waikiki - 9 pts (2W, 3L)
5th Hillman - 7 pts (1W, 4L)
6th Bungaree - 5 pts (5L)

Black Division: 1st Koorana - 15 pts (5W)
2nd Warnbro - 13 pts (4W, 1L)
3rd East Waikiki - 11 pts (3W, 2L)
4th Charthouse - 9 pts (2W, 3L)
5th Port Kennedy - 7 pts (1W, 4L)
6th Safety Bay - 5 pts (5L)

Fremantle Football Club donated posters for every player and 12 Dockers Jerseys to be awarded to the Fairest and Best player from each school. The following students won these jerseys;

Thanks to the Fremantle Football and Comet Bay College, we were able to run a successful Football Carnival for all 12 schools. Both Rockingham Beach and Koorana look forward to having Freo players come to their school to present to them their winning shields. Both are looking forward to having the Fremantle Football Club back on side in 2011.
