Stephen Hill will return from an adductor injury when Fremantle face Hawthorn on Monday night at Optus Stadium.

Hill is joined by midfielder James Aish as Freo’s two inclusions for the clash.

They replace Tobe Watson (omitted) and Brandon Matera, who has a minor groin injury.

Watson, Jesse Hogan, Bailey Banfield and Luke Valente have been named as the emergencies.

Senior coach Justin Longmuir confirmed on Saturday that both Hill and Aish would return and was excited about what they would bring to the team.
“Hilly will come back into the side, he has rehabbed his adductor and has been flying the last couple of training sessions,” Longmuir said.

“James Aish is the other one who will come back in…he has operated at full steam ahead this week so it’s good to have him back.

“(The pair offer) a bit of experience and they have been really strong executors of their roles.

“It’s been great to see ‘Hilly’ back in some really good form…he just adds some class to our backline and Aish will return to the wing, where he has probably played his best footy this year.”

Meanwhile Hawthorn have made one change after their win against Carlton, with Shaun Burgoyne out with a hamstring injury. The veteran has been replaced by Conor Nash, who will play his first game of 2020.

Tickets for the clash are available through Ticketmaster.

Bounce down is at 6.40pm and the game will be broadcast live into WA on 7mate and Fox Footy.

The match can also be streamed live via Kayo and AFL Live Pass.
