The Fremantle Dockers take on Sydney in the Club’s annual Purple Hands Foundation game on Friday 10 May.

Bounce down was originally scheduled for 6.20pm WST, but will now start 10 minutes later at 6.30pm WST due to broadcast changes.

Tickets for the match are available through Ticketmaster, starting from just $39.

Purple Hands is the Club’s charitable foundation that helps young people overcome barriers to unlock their true potential and was created so we can have a greater impact in the community we operate in.

We are dedicated to providing opportunities to help these young people realise their potential and thrive, and by donating just $10 to Purple Hands this week, you will be helping us create a future where no young person is left behind.

Supporters can meet at the East Perth end of the Matagarup Bridge to join hands and hearts in solidarity by crossing the bridge together for an inclusive future.

Please meet at 4pm for a 4.30pm start.

Freo fans can get their hands on a light-up purple wristband for $10, with all proceeds going to the Purple Hands Foundation, so look out for the volunteers as you enter the Stadium and purchase one to show you’re supporting Purple Hands.

All Abilities x Starkick
All Abilities and Starkick footballers will take over the field at half time of Friday night's match, continuing the showcase of inclusivity in sport.

Sensory bags available from 101 Oh What Fun
Purple Hands Foundation will continue to offer take-to-seat sensory bags for adults and children that have sensory needs at all Fremantle Dockers home games. With the support of uLaunch, Powered by Angus Knight, the bags are available to use throughout the game, and assist in making footy accessible and enjoyable for all. Sensory bags will be located at 101 Oh What Fun (section 101). Please ensure to bring a form of ID to exchange for a bag.

The Sensory Room will be activated and managed by Autism WA.

Transport Information

Friday night footy

Direct trains and the Suburban Event Bus Network will not operate before the match due to the clash with the afternoon peak period. Instead, catch a timetabled service to Perth, then transfer to an Armadale Line train service to Perth Stadium Station. Alternatively, you can also catch the Red CAT to Matagarup Bridge via West Perth and Perth CBD.

To get you home, the Suburban Event Bus Network will come into operation for 45 minutes after the match, in addition to direct trains on the Joondalup and Fremantle lines.

Plan your journey using the Transperth JourneyPlanner before you travel.

Armadale Trainline Residents Only

In light of the Armadale Train Line closures during the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership season, the Club is determined to minimise the impact on your game day experience. We recommend reviewing alternative routes offered by Transperth. Notably, a new Route 651 from Armadale Station and a gameday-only express Route 660 from Cannington Station to Optus Stadium will serve as convenient options.

Changes to Trains

  • There will be no trains between Armadale/Thornlie and Victoria Park stations.
  • Trains will continue to operate between Perth and Victoria Park stations, including Stadium Station on event days, weekends and public holidays.
  • Trains on the Midland, Airport, Fremantle, Joondalup and Mandurah lines will operate as normal.

Changes to Suburban Event Buses

  • A new limited stops Route 651 will be introduced between Armadale Station and Optus Stadium.
  • The CBD Shuttle (Route 661) will be permanently withdrawn. For passengers wishing to access the city, extra Red CAT services will service Matagarup Bridge or train services are available from Stadium Station to Perth.
  • Route 652 (Mirrabooka) will move to Sailani Ave (over the Matagarup Bridge).
  • Route 653 (Morley) will move to Sailani Ave (over the Matagarup Bridge).
  • There may be minor stand changes at the Stadium Bus Station.

The Club is asking everyone to please plan ahead this season and we thank you for your patience in advance.
