TWELVE Fremantle-listed players were in action for Peel Thunder as they recorded their biggest win of the season, booting 13 goals to Subiaco’s four to triumph by 57 points.
Jeremy Sharp: With Will Brodie and Quinton Narkle both sidelined, and James Aish a late withdrawal from the Round 19 clash, Sharp stood up for the Thunder, being one of the best afield with a game-high 25 disposals, 10 marks, and a goal.
Oscar McDonald: Last featuring for Peel in Round 11, McDonald returned from Fremantle’s AFL side and picked up where he left off, gathering 22 disposals and a game-high 13 marks, along with two inside 50s, showing his AFL experience in the young defence.
Joshua Draper: Found himself in a new role as a forward, having an instant impact by kicking his first-ever WAFL League goal in the third quarter. He later added a second to go with his 14 disposals and three tackles.
Isaiah Dudley: Also featuring in his first Thunder game since Round 15, Dudley added a lively spark in the forward line with three goals from 16 disposals.
Liam Reidy: Produced another strong showing in the ruck. His 42 hit-outs extended his streak of 41 or more hit-outs to five consecutive weeks. He also gathered 19 disposals, two marks, and two tackles.
Jack Delean: Kicked three goals, including a ripper under pressure from a tight angle during the third term to reignite the Thunder. He finished the day with 15 disposals and five inside 50s.
Brandon Walker: After kicking two behinds in Round 18 against Perth, Walker converted his first-ever WAFL League major with a booming goal on the three-quarter-time siren to push the lead out to five goals. He used his pace and bounce off half-back to finish the day with 13 disposals, three marks, three inside 50s, and the goal.
Hugh Davies: Alongside McDonald, Davies was strong in defence, gathering 18 disposals, nine marks, and three tackles.
Cooper Simpson: In scrappy conditions, Simpson had a quieter day, notching up 14 disposals and a solitary behind on the stat sheet.
Charlie Nicholls: After being held goalless for back-to-back weeks, Nicholls responded with two majors to take his League season tally to 14, averaging one per game in his debut year at the club. He also had 10 disposals, three marks, and two tackles.
Ollie Murphy: Continues to develop and had some strong moments, finishing with 10 disposals.
Jaren Carr: Came back into the League side after a strong showing in the Reserves in Round 18. He gathered 10 disposals, five marks, and one tackle, and continues to develop since joining Fremantle.
