Fremantle have confirmed their team of 23 to take on the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.
Fremantle have confirmed that key forward Pat Voss will return to the side following his late withdrawal from last weekend’s Len Hall Tribute Game due to illness.
Defender Judd McVee comes out of this week’s Round 8 team with illness.
A late replacement for Voss in the team that beat Carlton, speedster Jeremy Sharp (14 disposals, eight marks, two goals) retains his spot, named on the bench alongside Mason Cox, Isaiah Dudley, Neil Erasmus and Corey Wagner.
Fresh off winning the Arthur Leggett Medal for best afield in the Len Hall Tribute Game, Shai Bolton (33 disposals, eight tackles, two goals) has been named on a half-forward flank alongside Murphy Reid and Sam Switkowski.
Back in the starting line-up, Voss has been named in a forward pocket next to Josh Treacy and Jye Amiss.
The red-hot form of skipper Alex Pearce sees him line up at full-back, with Brennan Cox and Heath Chapman in either pocket.
Nathan O’Driscoll, Oscar McDonald and Chris Scerri have been named as the three emergencies.
The last time Fremantle and the Bulldogs met was Round 24 last year at Marvel Stadium, in a must-win match for both sides’ finals hopes.
Fremantle prevailed by 15 points, with Josh Treacy kicking three goals from 13 disposals, while Jordan Clark had 23 touches and five marks across half-back.
Fremantle have won the last two meetings against the Bulldogs.
The game will commence at 5.30pm WST and will be broadcast live on 7mate and Fox Footy, as well as streamed live on Kayo and 7plus from 5.00pm WST.
