You win some, you lose some.

That’s been the case for the Freo Dream Team Wrap in the past two weeks. The hot tips on David Mundy and Nat Fyfe were right on the money. That pair sit atop of the Freo DT scoring in 2011.

However, the advice to go for Nick Suban backfired when the Freo young gun broke his fibula in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against North Melbourne.

Suban, who had been in good Dream Team form in 2011, is now expected to miss the next eight weeks.

That means if you picked up Subes, you have to get rid of him faster than a Stephen Hill dash down the wing.

If you are looking for a replacement for Suban in your backline, there are two guys from Freo who you should strongly consider - but not for their high DT scoring in 2011, but rather their lower than expected output.

Greg Broughton and Paul Duffield have been well below their best in a DT capacity.

Broughts averaged 90.8 in 2010, but this has dropped to just 62.8 this season after four rounds.

It’s a similar scenario for Duff. A 60.8 average in 2011 is way down on his 88.7 from 2010.

What this means is their prices have dropped significantly and now could be the best time to snap up either of them.

Broughton started 2011 at $342,100 and is now $314,000 with a breakeven of 129 this week.

Duffield opened at $334,800 but you could pick him up for $313,600 (breakeven 113).

Their breakevens are very high this week so the best advice is to wait one more round and pick them up after Freo’s bye in round 6.

Both players are far too good to continue scoring so lowly and when they start picking it up, you’ll be glad you picked up such bargains.

The only people happier than Hayden Ballantyne after he kicks a goal are those who had the “antagonistic midget” (Chris Scott said it) in their Dream Teams last week.

Ballaz scored a match-high 140 points against the Roos to take his season average to 78.8.

While he hasn’t been a notoriously high DT scorer in the past, 25 possessions and four goals cries out DT gun.

If you think Ballaz can keep it up, take the punt while his price is still a reasonably low $294,000.

And well done to DT coach Paul T with team “Excitement Machine” which top scored with 2,293 points in the Fremantle Players and Fans Dream Team Group in round 4.

Good luck in round 5 Dream Teamers.
