Taylin Duman has been charged for striking in Freo’s 24-point win against GWS on Saturday at UNSW Canberra Oval.

The defender has been offered a two-match sanction for the incident involving GWS player Lachie Whitfield in the third term.

AFL match review officer Michael Christian classified the incident as intentional, medium impact and high contact.

As it stands, Duman will miss Fremantle’s clashes against the Western Bulldogs in round six at Optus Stadium and Adelaide in round seven at Adelaide Oval.

The club has until 9am on Tuesday to decide if it will appeal the charge.
